Michelle's Boudoir Experience

Michelle shares the story of her own boudoir photoshoot

We had so much fun during Michelle’s photoshoot! She was so kind, confident and fun to work with that she quickly became one of our favorite shoots! We asked her if she’d want to do a little write up about her experience and she was more than happy to share!

Here is her story, written by Michelle herself.

I knew from the moment I saw Olivia’s work that I was going to book a session with her…

Within hours of sending my inquiry email, Olivia responded and had me booked! As the date approached, I began to get more and more excited. Every day it seemed my ig feed was blessing me with post after post of Olivia’s, showing off beautiful, confident women. I could not wait to join the ranks!

On the day of my appointment, as I was pulling up to the studio, I got a call from Olivia letting me know there was a slight hang up and we’d have to be starting a little later than originally scheduled. Olivia instructed me to head over to Summit Coffee Co. where a beverage, on her, awaited me for the inconvenience. While I was not put out at all by the delay, I found the gesture to be a genuine mark of Olivia’s professionalism and courteousness.

When I got to the studio, Olivia warmly welcomed me and gave me a quick tour. We then discussed the type of look I was going for as Olivia rifled through the client closet, pulling out pieces she thought I would like to try on as Brittany set up for hair and makeup. The laughter seemed to be endless. Once glam was all finished, I made my way out to the studio to begin. While I am a confident woman in my own right, the professionalism, warmth, and detailed instruction (often including demonstration by Olivia lol) put me at ease immediately. Olivia guided me through pose after pose, hyping me up every second of the way. There was not a moment during my shoot that I did not feel like the sexiest, most confident version of myself.

The rest of the afternoon while I waited for my image reveal felt like a dream. I was so excited to see my images. The office was dark, and as I turned the corner, there I was. I could not believe I was looking at me. The woman on the screen exuded confidence. She believed in herself. She was fierce. She was ME!

Olivia’s talent was evident in every picture. Her attention to detail was impeccable. Her ability to highlight women, who are often experiencing uncomfortable vulnerability, as the most confident, powerful versions of themselves is astonishing.
